One of my breeding pairs, Roxy and Bunker, had their third litter of Joey's become OOP with me 8 weeks ago, so the babies are almost weaned, and I noticed that the female, male, and both babies have lack of fur on a small patch on the chest area where a male scent gland would be. The mom is a very mellow confident mother so I don't think it's stress over-grooming the others. They're all on the OHPW diet as it's high in protein and good for momma gliders, I'm just wondering what the spots were? The mom LOVES grooming me, my shirts, and blankets, though I don't let her groom my blankets as I don't want her licking anything bad off it. She doesn't scrape her teeth, she just constantly loves to lick my arm and hands, for a long time, does this have to do with anything? It's not a diet issue as I make sure to give fresh mixed veggies and fruits during day, and the HPW powder/eggs/honey mixture at night.
Anyone know what's going on? I can't get a vet checkup as any near me willing to check gliders are WAY too expensive, like, 150$ per Glider or something like that :( I actually just bought 2 new babies and a large cage for them too, plus I bought more HPW powders like the protein and calcium, so I'm short on cash right now. They all act normal, solid feces, no lack of energy, normal behaviors, they scavenge all the treats I hide and play with all their toys and wheel too :( Anyone know what's going on??? All my other gliders are fine and their in close proximity, and an old Joey's of hers is fine too, I'm worried. :(
