I have one female glider now. * my other female glider just passed away * I am planning to bring in more than a glider home and was thinking..... Should I bring in 2 males or 2 males & a female home?

I will be neutering one of the males and plan to pair my female to the non-neuter ones. She's 6 years older than the males that I will be bringing in and I was told that if the male wants to mate with her, they need her permission to do it. But if i do that, there's a chance my other female will get pregnant too if i get another female home yes?

Long story short, is it possible for them to live in harmony if I have 2 males & 2 females in a cage? *one neutered male*
Is there something I should watch out for etc?

I know neutering them all is the best choice but I really wanted to have something of theirs to hold on to like their babies if they ever, you know, passed on.

I did some research before I got my gliders because I was thinking of breeding and if you are to get two males have two or more females because they will fight over mates but I’m not totally sure what happens when you neuter one of them, (I know some dogs become more docile and less “looking for a mate” stage when you neuter them but I’m not sure about sugar gliders). I hope this helps, please don’t take this as a for sure answer because I don’t have any experience with male gliders but good luck with your gliders!
