Dear, I have a 5months female sugar glider, up to now she has been with me for 3 months
At beginning she was friendly and playing with me, suddenly every thing change and she get scare of me and making noise.
She don't want to come near to me. So I started as bonding process leave her at her cage just putting the food and changing water for a week Then I was setting next to her cage and talking softly I have read, that I need to put it in bonding pouch and kep it near to me
Sometime a chase her to catch her and put it in the bonding pouch At the beginning she was scared and making noise, now she set quite and sometimes sleep in the bonding pouch.
I think I am doing wrong process
I don't see we Are going forward with these things
Can you tell me the correct process?
Am I doing wrong by chase her and put it in the bonding process?
Do you have one glider and also you shouldn't have to chase them if they're sleeping just put the entrance of the pouch and connect it to the opening of the bonding pouch or use a net.
I would text you get another one so they aren't lonely. As Well you should try getting a butterfly net or a bug tent for bonding along with treats. Butterfly helps if they they get out to help with putting them into a bonding pouch. As for not chasing them just let go into Thier sleeping pouch and then go into the tent and she will get used to ur smell. Chasing her in cage creates a fight or fright scenario.
