A little over a week ago one of my two gliders passed. She was old and it was her time, but now I'm left with her brother who's all alone.
Since adopting them my fiance had a dog fall into her lap, and since the dogs arrival I haven't been able to play with them as much as they deserved.
His name is Merlin, he's fixed, healthy (a little overweight, but getting more play time should help), and needs a friend. He's a little shy, he's never liked being held in the hand, preferring to climb onto it on his terms. He has always been the less adventurous of the two, not usually wanting to leave the cage unless his sister was already out.
Now that he's all alone I'm worried he won't cope well and as much as I love him, I'd rather know he's with other gliders.
I'm ready to adopt another if needed so he's not alone, but I know I'll never have the oppurtunities to play with them as much as I used to and would rather him go to a home with more of his kind and ample time to play outside the cage.
I will only let him go to a home with other gliders and knowledgable owners.
