Separating Sugar Gliders for the Vet:

Hello! I have two sugar gliders (1 neutered male and one female). Recently we introduced them to eachother and they successfully bonded. Now I have to take them to a vet and was wondering, should I separate them (into separate pouches) for the vet? Will it be okay to keep them together? Would it traumatize them to be apart?

If they are a bonded pair take them together in the same pouch if you can tell them apart. Take treats so the one that is still in the pouch can be comforted while the other one sees the vet them after words they can both have treats letting them know that every thing is ok and that the friend is still there and so are you.
