Hi everyone. My glider is a male about 135 grams. I've traveled with him many times before by bus and car. Most recently, I took him on an Amtrak where I thought he'd just sleep the whole time (3 hours). However, for some reason, he completely panicked. The train was not loud or cold or by any means uncomfortable for him. He was in his little pouch, but the whole time he was frantic. By the end of it all, he managed to make his whole head raw and bare from scraping it against the sides. Now I've got to take this Amtrak home... and I am so worried about him hurting himself. I've reached out to vets and they say they will not give me recommendations for medicine without a visit, but these visits are weeks out and I won't be here. I will not be traveling with him by train again after this, but I really could use some suggestions on what to do for this last trip home.
