This is cool, I've never written in the journal on here. We've had our babies almost a year. They are some of the most amazing creatures I have ever come in contact with (zoos don't count). I've realized that raising suggies is a learn-as-you-go process and we've come a long way. Jelly's second joey has just started to emerge from the pouch. I have loved watching our own grow and now thier babies. It's just a miracle how this little lump in jelly's pouch can grow to a little wrinkly gray puppy to a beautiful sugar glider. Troy's friends adopted their first joey and named her Chloe. She's absolutely beautiful! She almost looks like she has a white face. I can't help but be a little protective of her when we go over to our friends house. They just moved into thier new house and kept the baby and her companion in their closet for a few days. I about hyperventalated! I tried not to pester them but told them I was very relieved when they moved them. She was my baby first! I hope this new one is a girl. If it's a girl she has a great home, if not, we'll start looking as soon as possible. We are considering adopting another girl from a lady here in idaho, but we aren't positive. Jelly and Icarus just like each other so much and are such good parents it would be hard to see them living in a polygamy colony. I am so glad we spent the money and got the extra sturdy parrot cage. We are so careful to keep our cat and gliders seperate, but it's nice to have the extra security with the heavier hardware. Monster thinks he's sneeky when he goes into their room, but his bell collar gives him away every time, and he always picks the same hiding spot. I think he just wants to be in there becuase he's not supposed to. I wonder if Jelly will ever have more than one joey at a time. We want to keep the last one or two females and get Icarus fixed. Well, I'd better get back to my homework. I know this was a lot of ranom thoughts, but it was nice to write them down.
