 Sugarglider Bathing

Smells:
Sugargliders have stink-glands much like skunks but less strong. It is important to thorougly clean their cage [including toys] at least once a week.
Hygiene:
Sugargliders are self-grooming which means they clean themselves. Though if you feel it neccesary you can purchase shampoos and conditioners specialized for sugargliders at your nearest sugarglider retailer.

It's not actually a shampoo it's a misting spray. We then dry them off soon after we spray the dry shampoo on them. [specialized for gliders]

I agree with Kyro never bath the sugar glider unless they are incapable of doing it themselves. Little animals get sick really easy when wet. Their little bodies arent able to keep them warm enough. You arent even suppose to bath week old puppies for the same reason. Maybe, if you have to, you could use wipes.

Sugar gliders should NOT be bathed unless they are sick and cannot do it themselves. The males have scent glands but their odor can be greatly reduced by having them neutered. Diet can also contribute to a strong odor.

It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store. What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more." -- Dr. Seuss
