late at night

just figured id write since there isnt anything else to do. im sitting listening to music with my 2 week newly purchased sugar glider, Kandy. She is 2 years old and has never been hand tamed. my friend i bought her from said she doesnt know where they got her. great right? so i have a glider from who knows where with no vet record. im getting an appointment but am going on vacation on the 17 until the 30 so it wotn be until july. she seems very healthy. i shouldnt say shes totally wild. she will take mealworms from my hands or lick applesauce or honey off my fingers. i only have her but i have plenty of time to spend with her. in these two weeks shes seemed a little more friendlier in that the crabbing has ceased to a brief 2 seconds when i first lift her in her bonding pouch out of the cage since it wakes her up. my bathroom has too many holes for me to really let her loose. i tried it with my gerbils n one got under the sink n took an hour for me to get him out. i dont have a tent either. im gonna try and get one in the near future but everythings relying on after my trip. i have a good friend shes already been around that is keeping her. she seems to like him and she will be in good hands. however it puts our bonding off for so long. if i get a tent and let her out will she go back in her bonding pouch on her own if i put it in there at the end of 'tent time'? i guess ill find out for myself if i manage to get a tent. Kandy is currently snuggling down against my leg in her pouch i wish i could have her out already. ^.^ so impatient. i kinda wished i could have raised a baby first so bonding would be easier n i would have understood it better with her. o well i shall make the best of it. shes such a cutie. shes a bit on the shy side though. if im standing near her cage she just watches me. she wont play or anything. when i put food in there she instantly has to check it out, but thats really the only time she doesnt care if im there. she loves me to pass strawberries through the bars so she can eat them upside down. if i turn the light off and lay down she turns super active jumping running etc. she likes to bark and hiss at night. i am guilty of talking back lol
