 Suggestions

I am new to the glider world. I'm not sure my little man is completely bonded to me. I've had him since October. Give him treats, spend tent time with him and he goes with me almost everywhere I go, but only in the travel pouch with the zipper. While in the tent he climbs all over me but won't stay in my hands. I'm afraid to put him in my pocket and get out of the tent for fear he my jump off of me and I'll have a hard time getting him back. Any suggestions

I agree with the glider proof room. My two gliders were both very stubborn and weren't interested in contact with me for a while. What worked best for me was taking a pouch and some sweet treats with me into a bathroom that was naturally glider proof (except I had to put a towel in the crack under the door so he wouldn't slip through). Try some mealworms or some yogurt and a fleece pouch. See if you could maybe "lure" them up into your lap with the treats, but be generous--and patient. They associate you with sweet things and warm place to curl up. Pet them while they eat (if you can) and in no time, they're bonded. Hope this helps! Good luck!!

In my opinion.... Try getting one of the tents and then try bonding time in a glider proof room.... A bathroom... Or something similar. Instead of grabbing him if he jumps away try offering your hand palm ups or by possibly putting your fist fingers faced towards the ground in front of him. Thats what i do with pepe but hes starting to just jump on me when i say come back to mommy. Hope i helped even a little best of luck!!!
