I am the new owner of a recently abandoned two year old girl (Owner went off to college and couldn't take her). I have always wanted one so now I'm trying to learn as much as I can. I got her from a local exotic pet store. The people there are incredibly knowledgeable so I don't doubt what they've told me. I have the glider cereal and the monkey bisquits and two other dry pellet things to be used in small amounts alongside with her fruits/vegitables everyday. I made a batch of priscilla price's diet and I just used the calcium/vitamin suppliment that Pet's and Reptiles Select gave me instead of buying Priscilla's. And a few mealworms as bonding treats. She seems to be happy and we are working on the bonding process. I hold her all day in the pouch and when she chirps at me at night I get up and sit by her cage for an hour. That usually makes her stop talking so much:) She is fantastic and I love her. Named her Calypso by the way. Also gonna go back and get some Gliderade from that store this weekend. Am I doing things right? I could really use a bigger cage though. Taller. If anyone has an extra to give away or knows of someone who does can you email me? Thanks!
