I do give pellets now and then as a treat for them because mine seem to like the pellets. But I don't rely on the pellets for their actual meal.

Pellets are not a good long term diet for gliders for a few reasons. They can cause "lumpy jaw", they don't have all the nutrients gliders need, they have been known to cause fur to turn brown... They need a nectar like staple with fruits and vegies along with it.
