Biting issue

 Biting issue

I got Willow October and in November I decided it was time to get a friend. I got Dakota and the breeder told me she was the sweetest little thing. I have tried many bonding tricks and I'm confident enough to say she is bonded to me but she just bites me all the time. She bites so often and so hard that it draws blood. I have looked all over these forums and saw a few with people saying they have had their sugar gliders for a week or even less but I don't know what to do with Dakota so I took it upon myself to make an account to ask because it's really frustrating and I've been patient but nothing I try works. Also, the pssst sound or the blowing in face has not worked. Please help.

I agree as well! Also, try sleeping with a blanket or towel and then putting it in the sleeping pouch. Don't be nervous or afraid, she will sense that. I have a couple tricks for bonding that I use as well. One thing to not do it scare her or be scared

I'm allergic to perfumes and stuff like that so my home is free of it. Could it just be that she has a biting problem? I don't know if it's common in babies or if she'll grow out of it.

I agree. don't wear any sort of perfume or fruity smelling substance when handling your sugar glider. my girl Delta nibbles my fingers and my toes, but never draws blood. this may be the reason of her aggression towards you

your perfume? your deoderant? your soap? I wash my hands with dawn dish soap before I handle. sounds like you need more time with them.
