HELP!!!

 HELP!!!

Today while I was gone I don't know why but I had issues with 3 out of my 5 gliders... :(
one of my sugar Gliders (Sheila) got her back foot stuck in the corner of her bag. Her foot is now going to need to be amputated, does anyone know how that is going to affect her? Am I ever going to be able to put her with another glider? Or should I leave her by herself?

And I have a brother sister pair together and today both of there tails have been chewed on. The boys is rubbed raw and the girl chewed hers to the bone, both towards the back. What would cause them to do that? Should I separate them? how do I keep them from continuing to do that? It's the first tome I ever had any of my gliders do this...

I feel positively awful, if anyone has any ideas of what I could do it would b greatly appreciated... thanks

Three legged gliders are very happy gliders! They can live full, long, and happy lives just as their four legged friends. And yes, she should live with other gliders as soon as the wound heals. She may need some adjustments in the cage such as more bridges/hammocks to catch her especially placed low in case she falls then she will have a soft landing. I have heard that chewing at the tail can be caused by depression, anxiety, or an infection. My money may be on a parasite, get their fecal floats and smears done. They should be fine housed together, friends are rarely the problem. Hope your vet visit has gone well as my reply came awfully late.
