 Why are there so many?

There are so many Gliders for SALE. (I chose this word rather than REHOME bc its all about the Benjamins). Why? I am not talking about from a Breeder, which i have no problems with and will become one myself to produce healthy and beautiful babies that others can enjoy.. But why are there so many on rehoming sites.. They say that a good home is the best thing yet they are asking asinine amounts for untamed gliders and supplies that are not adequate. When I try to explain this, I get chewed out saying they only want what they put into them. Im sorry that you made a rash decision and jumped on the ScamWagon bc you saw a cute critter and didnt do your research BEFORE purchasing..but why should that Glider suffer any more than you have already made it? People think its a instant bond bc thats what they SEE.. They dont HEAR what the guy says.. they "can" do this if you take the time... And when their dreams turn into a little poof of air, they decide its Adios for the suggie...
A parakeet cage is NOT suitable.. and a heat rock is not necessary.. and Its not just PPP pets.. Its people just not being able to afford their cellphone bill so the Glider has to go. I dont ever try to TAKE anything. I do offer something bc I think that gives people Security, but I then have to do the vet visit and buy the adequate supplies if I dont have them plus the food it eats on top of the ones I already feed.. I just wish Humans werent so damned Selfish!

 Vent time

Why is it so hard for the sugar glider community to be open and welcoming with new members? I think everyone forgets that they were new at some point. Makes it hard to feel like we are in it for the good of the glider when the humans can't even seem to be cordial. I am tired of being a "Newbie" and people assuming bc I haven't been on a forum for years, I must not have much knowledge or perhaps any other website programmed into my Internet search to use for personal research. I see why so many people get frustrated and walk away and then the poor gliders end up on Craigslist or even worse, forgotten in a much too small cage, all bc some egotistical gliderknowitall had to put their foot in someone else's mouth. It's really cruel how looked down upon us newcomers really are. Our gliders are willing to accept strangers into their colony and live cohesively so why can't we?
