My sugar glider is kinda big and I want him to get skinnier and I'm not sire what kind of exercise to give him or even the food. So anything would help thanks.

Hi! I'm new to this site, but I've had my gliders for round about five years now. My boy Enzo was on the heavier side too. He's super lazy and way too motivated by food. I initially tried putting his food inside interactive toys with compartments that he has to work to open. But his cage mate would open them up, pull out the food, and he'd take the food from her. What a little turd! My solution was to take him out of the cage at their normal feeding time and place him across the room, forcing him to work to get to his food. The combination of making him work and probably getting a little less since his skinny cage mate (she's only about 87g) gets first dibs in his absence has helped. He's really slimmed down. Having slimmed down, he's even more active around his cage now. Other than that, make sure he's got lots of things to clamber about on and a wheel. Play with him more--let him just climb around on you. As far as what you should be feeding him, I'm sure there is something posted around here about that, so I won't go into detail. I just tend to really limit his intake of fattier treats such as avocado, almond butter, meal worms, and the like. Hope this helps. :)
