A little worried now

 A little worried now

I have been doing a lot of reading on here about what you all feed your Gliders. I have had mine since the end of 2010. They had 2 previous owners, (I hate that word), and I am now the third. Though my babies are healthy, I want to give them a more natural diet. See, their previous owners, fed them a diet of baby food, and one special mixture of baby cereal, honey, and raw wheat germ, which they love. My babies are VERY picky, and every time I try to introduce a healthy new food, they reject it! I have tried all kinds of suggestions, but am desperate to get them on a better diet. I am not really sure of their ages, as I am the third person to have these babies. I am worried about the quality of life, and their lifespans being shortened by this seemingly menial diet; though they are doing well, and seem quite happy. Any suggestions on how I can get them to transition to a more natural and varied diet? Thank you :)

Just a story from my own experience. when I first swiched mine to the sugar glider food (The pellats) they hated it, but after their second night of having it they ate it and did ever since. maybe you should leave it in longer if you haven't already?

That sounds great! I'm going to give it a try! Thank you for the suggestion, and wish us luck ;)

I use HPW and it's great. I have picky gliders too so their least favourite veggies (Dandelion greens, pees, carrots etc) I blender up with a little bit of honey/mealworms or crickets/some fruity baby food that doesn't have garlic or onion. the HPW is served in the form of ice cubes and then I freeze the other portions😀 Pay attention to the calcium phosphorus ratio when making the fruit/veggie smoothie, but when you figure out a recipe they like, it's great!
