My gliders had 2 joeys. One was rejected at 1 day oop & I'm pretty sure the other is rejected but not all the way. The mom won't nurse the joey and the father won't stay in the pouch with it when supposed to. So I have to feed the joey with puppy milk and whatever. My concern right now is the adult parents are in heat and have been mating for 5 almost 6 hours. 1 am to almost 7 am. I'm tired. I need sleep but I've been trying to feed and keep the joey warm. I even fell asleep with it in my hands. Which I know is a bad idea so I put it back in the pouch. I keep trying to get the parents back in the pouch with the joey but they won't do it .. I'm stressed out. Idk what to do anymore. I also don't want them to have another joey and reject it :( neutering is an option but it's so expensive so I can't at the moment. Plus I'd have to neuter the boy joey. These were a birthday present, lol. I got a female and a male and someone who isn't me wasn't very smart by doing that. So it's not my fault this happened.
Any help? Advice?...
