 Someone help me please

I just got a sugar glider from a older couple that had him for a few years and never took him out of the cage. I need some help I'm kinda new at this and need some pointers. Also some help in getting him used to me so I can take him out and hold him.

It's best to have gliders in pairs so that they are less stressed and will more readily bond to you. If you could find a friend for him it would be great. If he isn't neutered then neutering may also help him calm down not only with you but will be easier to put another glider with him. Sometimes gliders do not get along. Other than that it just takes time, most gliders don't ilke to be held and most members on here consider "bonded" to mean, the glider will jump on you occasionally. First and foremost I'd like to know what you're feeding him. He should have protein (shrimp, boiled or baked chicken boiled or scrambled eggs..ect) fruits and veggies each night. Now, to the bonding tips. There is something called tent time where you put a tent up in a room and let the glider play in it, if you don't have room for a tent a bathroom will suffice with all drains covered, toilet seat down and no chemicals around.
