Mr. Fella's new MANSION!

So.... we are working with Fella constantly.. for the first time last night, he actually climbed right onto our hands to eat. Huge milestone for him! I cried.... of course, i'm a bit of a sap... anyhow, the hubby is taking a 100 mile drive today to go pick up Fella's new house! We just got him 4 days ago. He's been kept in this little tiny bird cage his whole life, and that's about to change... alot of things that Fella has known as "life" are changing actually.... he's gonna know all about what it means to have a good/happy sugar glider existance... these little animals are such blessings really. I'm not able to have anymore children, and of course my hormones constantly remind me that i WANT a baby... Fella is like the baby i can't have!!!!!! I'm so thankful. Will update again, Erika

plzs make sure and get your new glider a friend as much as you might think you can be his best bud you are not a glider so plzs get him someone to relate to.good luck with your new baby.

I know how you feel about want more kids but not being able to. It was my choice but still I wish I had chose differently! But now that I have my 2 little baby suggies....I feel like my life is complete....I find I no longer yearn so much at all anymore for more human babies...now I yearn for more furbabies!! lol But I think that is a good thing! They need our love and attention which is nice when you have teens in the house! lol Hugs to you I hope you enjoy many more beautiful moments like him eating out of your hand! Hugs again!!

Thats AWESOME! I'm so happy for you! I also can't have anymore children and its huge deal when one of my gliders makes a break through. I got my first 2 gliders at a pet store( I saw them and had to have them). About a week after having them I had so pretty sick babies on my hands they both had eye and upper respitory infections. after getting them better, (their names Double & Trouble) Double passed away. Trouble was lonly till about 10 days ago when I was able to adopt 3 older gliders from a woman who couldnt give them the time they needed. Sully 3yr, lulu & Willow 1yr now I have 2 pairs Trouble & LuLu who are very hyper and Sully and Willow very quiet and cautious. The three weren't handled very often and so it has been a learning curve and biting.
