 meal worms

I have read that feeding our little guys certain things like meat/bugs makes them very smelly. Do you find this is true? What fruits/veggies etc would you suggest to first introduce them to something besides her glide-r-chow? Do mealie worms make them smell more?

My Bio
I love to rehab squirrels and of course I'm in love with my suggie Boomer(Boomie)I spend my day taking care of my mom and playing with Boom's and watching and feeding my squirrel, Leonardo. He is one of 4 quirrelies I have raised since Sept. 2010. They are now on their 141 day of freedom.Leonardo is the only one that comes home daily for food and some naps.He still lets me hold him and gets on me. Boomie came to me from my daughter 1 yr ago.I didn't even know what this creature was that she had when I saw Boomer, but I fell in love instantly. She Boomie, is very shy but does good with routine. I will have these guys the rest of my life.I want to build my own community. I am so glad to see and hear of other nutty people that love these animals like me.It helps me not believe family members that I'm disgusting for it! I'm now trying to influence my grand kids to love squirrelies and gliders and learn how to respect and love and care for them too. Just recently my nephew Josh has joined me in being crazy - he's gotten 2 fat boy gliders and we all visit twice weekly.I just love it!!!Finally someone to learn with!Thank you Lord!
