It is recommended that a female be a year old before mating. They CAN mate well before 6-7 months old but shouldn't. You also shouldn't separate babies until they're around 10 weeks OOP.

Between seven and fourteen months is when they start mating. So it could be as soon as a month, or as long as another half a year. Remember to separate the babies when you breed though, to prevent them from insestually breeding.

my first pair didn't have a joey till they were over a year old, and now they are baby making machines.
