So, I was wondering which sugar glider diet is the best diet? I think Kazko's sounds pretty good. Do you blend it and freeze it so it's like veggie ice cream? Or smoothie? Or do you just leave it how it is? Anyway, I have everything in Kazko's diet except for the nectar mix, which I'm soon getting. I'm also getting crickets and already have meal worms. Is that a good diet? Thank you guys!! :)

I know that sugar gliders don't do well around other animals at all. However, I have a dog, but he's not allowed upstairs (where the sugar gliders' cage will be) except for sleeping, which is in a different room than the gliders anyway. Also, I have a guinea pig, chinchilla, and lizard. They're all caged except for individual play time, which won't be around the gliders. So I don't think any of them will be a problem. What I do think might be a problem is my cats. They're kept in my room overnight, and let out during the day. That's the same room that'll have the sugar gliders in it. Also, the cats don't bug the chinchilla or guinea pig at all. All they do is watch them, and they don't even get into a hunting position. The cage wires will be too close for them to stick their paws inside, but could this be a problem? I have a lot of pets, and love them so much. I'm really passionate about sugar gliders and would like to own some, but will they be OK around the cats? Thanks so much! Please comment!

Does any body know how much sugar gliders cost from pet shelters? I know that regular grays (which I'm planning on getting) can cost from $150-$300 or at least around there, but pet shelters sell cats and dogs for only $20!! Are their sugar gliders usually cheap like that? Also, are they healthy? Thank you guys! Please comment. :D

Heya! :D I'm thinking of getting suggies. This is what I have so far. Bedding, water bottle, nail clippers,meal worms, and everything in Kazko's Diet. I'm going to get some toys from a pet shop for them to chew on. I've ordered crickets, a nectar mix, a wodent wheel, a play tunnel, a bonding pouch, and a hammock. I will also get a cage from a pet shop. Also, I am wondering if sugar gliders from pet shelters are healthy AKA if I should get them? If not, how can I find a good sugar glider breeder, or someone who sells healthy sugar gliders? Is it possible that a chinchilla breeder could know where to find healthy suggies if they specialize in exotic pets/animals? Thanks so much!
