Hey I am 14 too. My glider crabbed a *little* at first... hardly any..but I will try and answer your question. First of all i would wear gloves, and second of all, dont be afraid. I know that with horses if you are afraid and you act it, they will know and will be "meaner" because they know they are on top of the list and you are mince meat compared to them...act like the glider is tame and just be nice like give her little treats from your hand. If you wear gloves, a long sleaved shirt, pants, and maybe a hat, you should have your self covered and she cant hurt you. And even if she did bite, it doesnt hurt. (atleast when Roo bites it doesnt, but some people say they can bite to the bone?) Try and tempt her with food and see if she will let you pet her in the cage...you can carry her in a bonding pouch if you want. Email me at WhisperQHs@aol.com or IM me at WhisperQHs, BaileyQH1, or TeamRoper9 if you have any questions. Thanks.
