First of all, have patience. The crabbing is to scare you off and it seems to be working. We switched to a pouch hanging on the side of the cage with our new crabber. That way you can gently push the glider up into view. When she crabs, try a piece of food. Also be calm and talk calm, leave the cage open and see if she will come out to explore you. Try to pet while she's eating, but don't go in to grab. Biting is part of their way in the beginning, it's a taste test. Also lose the gloves, your scent will be cowhide to them.
