I am doing the same exact thing you are. I just got a baby glider for a friend for my older glider. He is very curious and determined to see her but she is very scared and crabs at him. He will bark and chrip and chatter at her and sometimes she will mutter back. Before you try to introduce them, make sure the baby is comfortable with you and is no longer scared of her new environment. Then you have to get her used to his smell. Mine will crab at me if I have been touching the other one. There are several ways to get her used to his smell. You can switch their pouches/nestboxes and cages. Keeping the cages together is good. You can take a small soft towel and rub it on the male's scent glands and then rub her with it, then rub him. You want to get them smelling the same. Once you've done that you can either put him in her cage or even better take them both out and introduce them in a neutral environment where you can separate them quickly if nessecary. If she is very scared try again a little later. Be very patient and talk to her soothingly during this process. Good Luck.

: I have a male sugar glider already, but I wanted to get him a companion so I got a 5 mon. old female. At the store where I bought her, they said that I could just stick her in with him and they would be fine, but it didn't happen that way. She is still very scared, and he is more curious than anything. I put them in separate cages for the time being, and they saw each other all night. He even barked at her, but she didn't do anything. What do I do to get them to be friends or at least stay in the same cage? Please help!!!!!
