I think you will be more pleased by the quality of animal you will get from a breeder.
also, hi mike...i live just a bit from you at va beach :) small world :)

: There are plenty of breeders in the US and Canada. I did alot of research before buying my babies and spoke with Breeders all over the United States and the one I purchased from was Beverly Oakes in Lyford, TX. She owns Glider Gulch. You can contact her at boakes1@earthlink.net She is very friendly and handles the joeys for hours a day, she also sells leashes, vitamin supplements etc...... her prices are great and she priority flies them via American Airlines. We live in Hampton VA which is on the east coast. anyway good luck! and just to let you know i'm sure there are other great breeders out there...I just gave my favorite!

: : I found a pet store nearby that sells gliders. I want to get a friend for my first glider. He's a young male that I adopted. I'm planning on taking him for his first vet check this week to see if he can be neutered so I can get a female. The pet store's gliders are obese, and crabby, and the people there don't know a thing about them- even how to sex a glider. I'm very wary of this place, but nobody else here sells them. Will breeders still sell to people in NY? I'm on Long Island and they're still legal here. Who is recommended most on the net?
: : Thanks in advance, Amy and Jonesy : )
