Hello all. I'm sure most of you know that Toby's foot is hurt. Well, we are seeing the vet regularly. I'm actually waiting to hear from him now, I just thought you guys might have some helpful input till then. You always seem to know what's going on with Gliders, even when the vets don't. LOL Anyway, I got Toby up this morning, and the three fingers that were hurt are black. (which they were in the beginning) Is this bad? Will this go away? Also, the finger tips seem to have gone down to the right size as far as I can see anyway. He is also gowing nails. Now the thing I found this morning is that the nuckles just above the finger tips are swelled. Now it could be that I'm just parinoid, but it looks like the swelling is bigger than it was. So, the finger tips have gone down, and the nuckles are swelled. Is this normal for the healing process? He is on meds, and I soke his foot in warm water. (not as easy as it sounds) Is there anything els I can do? I'm afraid to put peroxide or neosporin on it. I don't know how toxic these are, and I know he'll try to lick it. He uses his hand now also. I can't tell if he actually uses his "fingers" but I know he's not limping at all anymore. Some one please tell me if I'm doing everthing I can, I'm so scared for him. I don't want to do anything wrong.
