I don't know anything -- don't even have a glider -- but for what it's worth I just read in Caroline MacPherson's book today, "Don't use screen door mesh to build a homemade cage because the gliders have a tendency to get their claws caught in it." Folks around here seem to think she knows what she's talking about, so it's something to keep in mind.
