That name distcusts me. thats where our glider came from and BOY did she take some taming !! IT is just SAAAAD
the way the do those things.. U know my finacee didnt know anything about her and they STILL sold ehr to him and gave him little to NO info on her or what kind of care she needed. She was also being handled by the store clerks.
I also noticed when i first was introduced to her, she was living on applesauce and CHEESE!!! can u believe THAT
MY Fiancee got a mouth FULLL with i found out AND the size of the cage he aws keeping her in.. Im suprised shes lived this long but I finally got her a huge 4 foot cage and shes eating leadbeaters now ;) When I went to that reptile store they didnt have any gliders on the floor except one. I think there iwas leadbeaters in the bowl. tahst what I lookedl ike and also had catfood in there. However, it was in a glass aquiarium and not a very big one either. It had just been returned I think and thats why they had him on the floor trying to sel him. I was asking the lady if they had any more for sale and she said no, just that one.. But i could afford another one after buying that huge cage..
they wanted 250 for him and I knew he would take some taming snice he had just came out of a household where the guys wife (who he bought the glider for) wouldnt play with the glider, so he took it back. It may have been the guys daughter that was working. She said that she breaded bearded dragons so it probably was. I dont remember her name either but she was pretty cool and she knew alot about what she was doing. As for petland, I boycott them and I refuse to step foot in a Petland from now on. I would rather give my money to a drunk man on the street to buy more liquor than support their cause, which is taking money and dropping some type of animal in your lap thats been mistreated. We got ours from the one on Hamilton road i think. That's also the same petland Dateline visited and questioned about where they buy their animals from.
(if that tell you anything!)
I am getting another glider soon because a lady cant care for him like she wants him to be cared for so I may or may not have to work with him depending. i know ours is a real biter.. man she bites hard too when shes mad. But then other times she can be the sweetest thing.. It is just her turning point maybe.. before she just ran from me, so i have definitely made progress. She chooses my shirt rather than my fiancee's now so I can tell she is bonding.. or is bonded already. its kinda funny i tease him because she will get in my shirt and he will try to get her out and play with her adn she will bite him because she wants to stay in there. I will definitely be going back to the store though. They had some nice stuff that Ive been looking for,
cage accessories! And they have some really neat lizards!!
My roommate wants to get an iguana. How do gliders get along with those ?? do you think they will fight or kil??
Or how about any other lizards??
