I have always had a problem with Petland. Especially how they can con people into buying over priced dogs at the drop of a hat..then people wonder why do many great dogs (albeit ones that end up with behavioral problems)find their way into animal shelters! In my opinion, stores like that shouldn't be allowed to sell high maintnance exotics! Most times there is not even anyone there that can tell you anything about them!! Oh, occasionally there is someone who THINKS they know, so that makes then the expert! And that is how misinformation gets passed on as fact and gliders suffer for it...

I doubt the little sugar glider at the reptile store spends all her time in the aquarium, she is prolly with the colony most of the time. And she prolly spends a good deal of her time in someone's pocket : ) And, if you didn't meet a cute, little 4 year old who knows reptiles as well as anyone in the store, you didn't meet his daughter : ) Maybe you will see her next time you are in there : )

Heck, maybe you and I can arrange to meet there sometime : ) I'll bring my critters, you can bring yours!
