I have owned ferrets and they are great pets, but very fragile. They also have no homing instinct so you have to be careful not to let them get outside. They love to burrow and if you lose him in the house, you can usually find him inside an article of clothing or blanket that's been left on the floor. Ferrets love to have companions and they love to play. Have not owned an SG - am just learning about them. Was searching for info for friend who doesn't have access to a computer. At present just have 3 dogs and four cats.
