They love to burrow and if you lose him in the house, you can usually find him inside an article of clothing or blanket that's been left on the floor. Ferrets love to have companions and they love to play. Have not owned an SG - am just learning about them. Was searching for info for friend who doesn't have access to a computer. At present just have 3 dogs and four cats.

SG's are much like ferrets in that they are too fragile and like to go bury themselves in your clothes or find a nice box in a dark closet to curl up in! They too have happier lives if they have companions but they can also bond to their owners. Im not sure about if they got out of the house though. if i take mine out with me, she stays with me pretty much unless she jumps on my fiancee. And I dont think she would ever actualy run away if it were possible. But she doesnt really trust strangers anyways.
