: : I have Rocky on Bourbons leadbeaters..and he loves it...in fact it is the only thing he will eat. i give him a teaspoon everynight along with vegetables mixed in, fruit on the side and a cricket..he eats the cricket, and he eats most of his leadbeaters and eats around the vegetables..(I have tried a variety of fruits and vegetables) he is about 4 months old. should i take him to the vet to see if there is something wrong..(he seems fine) or is this a sufficient amount of food for him..thanks....sunny

: I've got the same issue w/ my SG, she's about the same age.
: She'll devour the (Bourbon's) Leadbeaters, and eat around
: anything else. I tried a few things to get her to eat fruits
: and veggies on a more regular basis--your local supermarket
: should let you get a few "samples" of fruit, ie one or two
: of a small fruit or a piece of veggie, or a cut piece of
: fruit or whatever. Try hand feeding it to your glider right when
: he wakes up, so he's hungry but moving slow enough to stop
: to smell the food, you'll find out pretty quick what he's
: interested in. Leaving food out didn't work, plus it spoils,
: and mixing it didn't work for me either =P.
: heh...if you find any way around a picky -and- spoiled eater,
: let me know ...she'll only eat fruit outta my fingers
: now =).
