5 weeks old is not bad. I purchased my glider when they were 5 and 3 weeks old from a very well known and respected breeder. I will not mention her name. If you request it breeders will let you and you get a way better bondage. You have to feed him Espalac, puppy milk supplement out of a small syringe and baby food or applesauce feed him 3 to 4 times a day. Make a shirt with a little pouch in the front of it and play with him for 2 hours a day. And put a little stuffy or t-siirt that you slept with, with your scent on it in his nest. My gliders are extremely affectionate and yours will bont quickly with love and attention and know you as his mom. Hope I helped. ;)
