i put baby food cereal (comes in the little jars) out for my guys to snack on during the day, I put it in the cage about 5:00 am . they eat it up by the end of the day but there is usually a little layer of film on the top after a few hours. does this go bad before i get it out? i use a third of the jar at a time. mixed cereal, rice cereal or oatmeal (all have some kind of fruit in them). i feel this is good for them cos of all the vitamins and roughage and they aren't picky about them.
