I have custom built a cage that needs to have branches or wood dowels for support. I was wondering what kind of wood can I use, and more importantly what kind should I avoid. I don't want to cause any problems for my new little girl, but I can't afford to buy the "pet store" wood, as it is rediculously expensive and I need a great deal of it.

Any Ideas?
