If given in small amounts or substituted for a more fatty food, avocoados are fine to feed to your glider once and a while.
Not all fats are bad. Both humans and sugar gliders do need *some* fat in their diet to stay healthy. The fat in avocados is preferable than what is found in meat (and bugs.)
Avocados contain monounsaturated fat which can help lower bad cholesterol levels. Avocados are rich in glutathione, a powerful antioxidant that attacks free radicals in the body by blocking intestinal absorption of certain fats.
Avocados are also very nutritional: high in beta carotene, fiber, folate (a B vitamin), fiber, and potassium (60% more potassium than bananas).
