There seems to be a general consensus (among those who post here) that calcium is very important & the phosphorus contained in Retocal prevents the calcium from being absorbed completely/correctly

: Nectar, do you put in thier food, water or by itself?? How often and how much??

I use strawberry flavored hummingbird nectar (95% colour free) mixed with bottled water (weaker than directed--more water than powder) as their primary source of liquid consumption. They like it, so they drink it a lot, and that helps reduce my concern about dehydration due to being stubborn
