Hello everyone.

I currently have 4 gliders in 2 cages. My oldest (6 yr old female) has recently started biting.

She has always been a big scenter but recently - week or so- she has been doing the booty dance, obsessed with chewing on hard surfaces (metal cage, PVC, even sweatshirts I'm wearing) and when I pick her up she will latch on and refuse to let go.

I also have noticed that her fur is not looking awesome, everyone else is fine though.

This is completely new behavior and I have had her for about 2-3 years. Is this her in heat or age or an underlying problem do you think?

I dont think it's her in heat. My female goes into heat and the only this that happens is my male won't leave her alone. Ends with me separating them for the night.

I think it may be an underlying problem or age. I'm not expert or anything. It just doesn't sound like a female in heat.
