Today in the mail we recieved Angels paw prints and a print of her nose. After she passed they took the prints before they gae her back to us so we could bury her. They also sent us a rainbow bridge poem and a lovely card that alll the staff that we saw and who worked with us signed. It was so lovely. Made me cry for awhile. We still miss her so much but everyone at southdown was so great to us. We appriciated it so much. You know what my boyfriend said to me today after we got them "Im really going to miss the people there" lol. I will too. It sucks that we only get to see them when somethings wrong. :( Its kinda like "well I hope to see them again, but i never want to need to see them again" Well here are the photos of her paws and nose print, as well as the outside of the lovely card.





does anyone else has paw prints of their departeds? I think it was such a great idea that they did this for us.

What a kind and thoughtful thing for your Vets to do. I have never heard of any Vets around here that do that for the grieving clients.

My vet sent me a card with a handwritten sympathy message and signed by everyone at the vet for both of my girls (Lexi & Mia) but it didn't have their prints and that is a great idea.

The vet hospital I worked for would send out cards and make a donation in the animals name to a wildlife rescue..

By the way..you can stop by the vets to say hi....maybe bring them some homemade brownies.....

We had clients that we got very attached to and were pleased when they came by.....(just NOT on a busy Saturday). Most people that work at vets are animal lovers (it sure isn't for the pay) and we all know people that love animals are the BEST....Rainbow Bridge does make you cry but also gives comfort. I believe there is a bridge where we will meet again....all creatures big and small...are loved

those would make a good tattoo.
