Holy cow. This is a flat out lie and makes no sense whatsoever to someone with half a brain. Uhhh, sorry Ray Ray. ;) See if you can find a url for that campaign. Id like to learn more about the lies they are spreading.

I almost fell over when we got our last electic bill...

My son had a great idea.. if we could somehow wire up all the glider wheels here to a battery/generator then we could power up our own house and tell the electric company where to go! LOL

see i told you i'm not crazy. I did some looking up and all i could find was that because tvs are generally off more than they are on if you take up the electricity from a whole year that they consume when they are off its more than when it's on.

I'm not certain.

Well if you think about it, 1 watt per hour over a day is 24 watts. Your tv operating per hour is 50+ watts, so youd have to leave your tv off for 2+ days in order to equal running it for one hour. To be honest, even the logic you are describing doesnt hold true. Who the heck is saying this gibberish? Well, it might as well be our presidential candidates as it rates up there with their standard garbage.

The commercial i saw said "a turned off TV" which I'm thinking there is one specific TV or a real old one they are talking about.

And now that i think about it, the old TV my parents use to have would glow for hours after it was shut off. Maybe thats the one they are talking about
