I built this cage for my glider's about a month ago... It has TONS more toy's in it now, though!



It's 6 feet tall, 3 feet wide, and 3 feet deep.

big. its taller than me.

although alot of ppl and things are taller than me...lol

Their old cage was about 2 feet tall, so they went CRAZY the firt night they were in this one!

I bet they are going to love it. Did you get treat the wood so it doesn't soak up urine?

No, unfortunately I didn't know the wood would would absord EVERYTHING! But i'm pretty succesfuly litter box training my glider's! They're doing excellent!

I put my little sister in it sometimes...! LOL. She's scared of my gliders since they have sharp nails. At least I don't have to worry about her trying to get them out of the cage.

tehe!! u can get lil litter boxs for hamsters(made for their size!!) and lil packs of litter for them as well

Yeah, i've tried those, but they make a big mess with the litter. Besides, WHO CAN LITTER BOX TRAIN A HAMSTER?

how many do u have? it looks a little big for 2 ta me. but then again im not a glider so i dont know if its perfect or too big or too small!(i doubt its to small!!)

I have two glider's, but I'm looking into getting more. Mine love the space though! They certainly aren't fat and get plenty of excerise.

id say so. im getting a second one as soon as its weaned because the people who sold me sugar booger have 2 joeys in the pouch and they have 3 all together without the joeys. they said they give one to me because she loved the others!!

no a male. we will have him nuetered so we dont have babys. although it would be very nice to get joeys i have no expierience in that area and dont want to be the cause of a lost life. so they will probably become mates.(or partners)

Hmmn, I've heard that girls and girls get along GREAT! I think it just depends on the glider. By my observations, though it seems like introducing a female to a male or another female has equal problems. (Or succeses!)

i wanted a female but they are more expierienced than I. so im trusting them. i just hope that she wont bully him with her being so much older

they have been much nicer to me then they had to be.

That's good :) real glider breeders do it becuase they enjoy it, not for profit.

well i dont want to breed mine because lack of knowledge. if i knew more id say by all means lets have a baby(s)

I used the same design for it as a PVC cage, I just used wood instead.
