ok so im looking into making a cage for my gliders(once i can start introducing them). my husband and i looked at using wood and pvc pipe. using wood, 1/2 inch wire mesh, sheet metal(as pullout tray)... not including the ties or things to hold it together was running about $60 dollars.

Wood is not ideal-their urine will stay inside of it. Consider making it entirely out of pvc and pvc coated wire mesh. Do not just use wire mesh-it can cause urinary tract infections. I made a pretty big cage for about $150.
