please help i have a female whos a year old and i just got a male today whos a year and a couple months i put them together and they were fine and then i took them out to introduce them to eachother they keep on chasing eachother and clawing at faces and getting on backs, when i seperate them its hard and they bite, shes never bitten me before. i have one cage so they have to be together all night.

First of all, a quarantine time should've been done before you even attempted introductions. At this point, it's too late for quarantine. Both need to go to the vet now for a FULL exam, including fecals. And both should be re-checked in 30 days.

Are they balling up? Will they separate on their own?

First of all-did you do a 30 day quarantine? And is he nuetered? I would separate them immediately. This should never have been done. You can not just put 2 wild animals together and not have a backup plan/cage incase they fight. I am sorry to be rude, but it is true. You need to get a cage and fast. They will kill each other if they are going on like this and housed in the same cage. Why did you get another one and not have a cage for him?

Please see if you can give him back to his old owner for a few days until you get a new cage for him.

I missed the part about you only having one cage. You need to get another cage for the second glider TONIGHT.
