So I was just looking around at a pet store and ended up by the wheels. They had a sturdy looking metal mesh styled wheel and I was just seeing if anyone had any thoughts about the safety of the mesh part for my gliders feet? I cannot find a picture of it online but it looks like the mesh one on petco's site by it doesn't have that cross bar which I know is dangerous.

no it's the same mesh style but that bar across the middle isn't there, it has a stand on the back like the silent spinner www.petco.com/product/14921/Super-Pet-Large-Silent-Spinner-12-Wheel.aspx?CoreCat=OnSiteSearch
but it's a screw going into the middle instead of that plastic nub. I've been looking for a picture of it but I can't find it anywhere online for some reason.
