We have used it at every vets office I have ever worked at and it works great, I know gliders have a sensitive nose and scents can make them sick.

it cant go in the washer b/c it has cardboard in the bottom and moe has it all stinky...

Is there some way you could carefully open the bottom, remove the cardboard, and replace it with plastic mesh canvas? that way it could probably go in the washer on "gentle." Then let it air-dry. Odoban sounds like Febreze for animals. It might temporarily remove the odor but not what is making it.

That or a plastic kids plate that you can get at WalMart for like... $3...

You could wash it by hand...

I wash most of my glider products by soaking them in hot water and vinegar. I don't see any reason why that wouldn't work for that little house.

Yes, but it has cardboard, hence the issues.

I used that once on my sugar gliders pouch and she HATED it. no it didn't make her sick, but it's really really hard to not make that stuff smell strong. I don't even like spraying my sheets with it, because it's soo heavily fragranced. I've heard PureAyre works great-- after it dries and the smell dissapates. The card board is way inside of it to help it hold its shape, there is no way to get to it, I mean who the hell designed this thing, but they love it, i guess ill just throw it in the washer and see what happens maybe it isnt cardboard..
