Someone mentioned on one of Lola's pictures that I posted a couple weeks ago that she might possibly be a blackk beauty?
It doesn't matter to me, but I am curious. Anyway, here's pictures of her little chin strap...




They aren't anything special just some little clips!
The first two are Lola gliding and the last is Sammie

By what I can see from the strap (its hard to see) but she looks to be a BB from what I can tell from the photo!

I thought a bb was just really dark I didn't know they had that strap under the chin

Black beauties have a few traits

Darker/Black and thicker markings [eyes, stripe, hands, etc.]

Silver/grey undercoat on their underbellies

Dark hands or knuckles

The last is controversial because there have been black beauties that reportedly are also WFB....or to have normal chinstraps yet the rest of the body to be BB in style. So possibly a thick chin strap

I believe it was me who said Lola looks like a Black Beauty, I still think she is, she has a beautiful shin strap and gorgeous grey/silver coloring seeping into her underbelly coat.

She also has black knuckles, normal grey's sometimes have this too but in combination with her other attributes I think it means she is a BB.

I know! 70 grams to 76 pounds in 4 weeks is AMAZING! lol

I really am glad she gained weight, even if 6 grams isn't as impressive as that^ would be!

Sammie has black knuckles? But he's definitely a standard grey...

Black knuckles? Are these knuckles entirely black or just marked black? Because Fritz has black marks on his knuckles. o.0

Definitely black knuckles

I have four females, two of which have black knuckles, one is for sure a standard grey. To be a black beauty you must have black knuckle, black and thicker markings, and it must have a silver underbelly. Chin straps are optional.

So everyone stop getting excited! lol Lots of standards have black knuckles! lol

Um I bet [if she is] Lola is going to have beautiful dark standards or some BB's!
