What does everyone think about this diet?? This is what I am currently feeding my 2 gliders. Who else uses this diet. I got this from the person I bought them from....

1.Reep's Wombaroo Diet ( 2 teaspoons mix per glider per night)
2 Tablespoons Wombaroo High Protien Supplement
1/4 cup Mixed Baby cereal
2 Jars ( 2.5 oz.)Chicken baby food or (2 extra large eggs)
6 oz Apple Juice
Mix all ingredients in bowl. It will look like cake batter. Serving size is 2 teaspoons per glider. You will get 30 servings.
Also after you make initial mix, serve your gliders for the night, then put the rest in several ice cube trays. Once frozen, it is 1/2 cube per glider.

2. 1 tablespoon Vegetables (if you use frozen, use Birseye Steamers-no salt in them)

3. 1 tablespoon Fruits(you can use frozen if you wish)

4. Make sure to keep Calcium/Phospherous levels 2:1 ( this diet does that )

5. Yogurt 2 tsp Mon-Wed-Fri

6. Yogies(during bonding and play)

7. Fresh water ( I use the the water bottles. Make sure the water bottles are working, touch the opening to see if water disperses when touched. Gliders can dehydrate very easy. I check my bottles in the evening when I am giving food, and/or in morning before play/bonding.Do not add vitamins in the water.

I used Reeps diet for several months before completing my own research and developing my own GliderKids feeding plan.

My gliders ate it quite well and had no problems while on this diet.

I would suggest feeding a very wide variety of fruits and vegetables with it to bring a full complement of vitamins and minerals to the feeding that the provide. Include some dark green leafy veggies each week and limit the corn and peas and other very high phosphorus vegetables to only a few times a week.

Personally I LOVE Reeps. It's my favorite so far. I've had my girls on it for over a year and have had absolutely no issues. However different gliders thrive on different things I suggest testing the waters on multiple diets of you feel like they could be doing better.

Not to take over Candy, but below is her website and the staple recipes she came up with:

On her website you can also find a list of safe fruits and vegetables, along with information on the diets themselves.
