This is my life his name is buchy boy. His story is sad so here it goes. I found the Chi in his a garage at a guys house that was really handicapped his cage was standing in a pile of gas and oil it was so bad it made my stomach turn from the smell I'm sure he could have died he had a mate at one time the mate was dead in the bottom of his cage and she had been dead for quite a while cuz she didn't smell anymore. I backed my car up to the garage door but she put but she in a box his cage in the trunk of my car and drove off so basically I stole him. I would do it again. I have had him sence July 17 2014. he is doing very well I don't know what I would do without him I love him so much right now I am remodeling on my home and the best your bedroom is but she's bedroom she needs a little girl that he can share his house (condo) I love him he's awesome I can't afford to buy another one I'm hoping I could find a little girl that needs a good home.on Facebook I have many photographs of my little guy in his old bedroom you can go look at my facebook name is sabrina white I live in Oakridge Oregon I will drive to wherever I need to go to get one I have a separate cage that she can be in in the same room 7 days and then moving him closer to each other until they get used to each other. That is how I would like to do it I think that would be the right way or at least the best way. please contact me with any information on how I can get a female I will take as many as to thank you very much sabrina white my phone number is 541 214 3657 my address is 48228 highway 58 # 52 Oakridge Oregon 97463

I just saw a picture you recently uploaded with a glider sitting between 2 tiny cages maybe big enough for gerbils.

Are those the cages you are talking about? If so they are Both ENTIRELY to small for 1 glider let alone 2. I understand your lil guy needs a cage mate but he also needs a bigger, much much much bigger cage PRONTO.

WOW - sorry but your post was totally difficult to read - so many extra pronouns I had trouble following your thoughts.

If you find a second glider - you need to do a 30 day quarantine with a health check and fecal testing on the new glider and a follow up fecal test 30 days later to make sure your new glider is not bringing any parasite issues into your home to share with Buchy Boy.

If Buchy Boy has not had a well check up and fecal testing done since you brought him home this also needs to be done BEFORE you get a second glider. This is especially important since you do not know the cause of his former cage mate's death. If he has not been neutered you also need to have that done BEFORE you introduce a female.

Read more information in the Gliderpedia (button in the forum header) about quarantine and introductions.
